Update, April 16
The Wildmans concert is SOLD OUT.
If you RSVP, we’ll put your name on the waiting list! Thanks
We love this duo and their band. We heard them first on a small stage at Fresh Grass 2021 (I think). The next year they won the annual Fresh Grass band competition. (You can see video of their follow-up performance on the main stage below.) When we contacted them about playing here, we learned that they’re moving back to Virginia. We are catching them just in time to hear them in person before they go.
You might say they were born into string band music. Floyd, Virginia, where they grew up, has deep roots in Appalachian music. What luck for them, and for us. I could take up space here telling you about the soul I hear in their music, both the traditional tunes and their own new music. But instead, come join us and see, hear, feel it for yourself.
