Maxfield Anderson & Tader Shipley, Feb 16

/

We’re thrilled to have these two, and two surprise friends with them, back to kick off the 2025 concerts.

Max has been recording a new album and he’s going to share new music and arrangements with us. What we love about Max’s music is the full measure of feeling found in it. It’s a beautiful balance of the lonesome longing that’s always been a feature of the ballad tradition and plenty of good humor to make the day to day lighter. Hear some great examples of both in the recent concert video with Tader from Club Passim below.

Sunday, February 16, 2025
3:00 p.m. in Carlisle MA

You can RSVP right here, right now!

Please keep in mind that the artists are expecting you, so treat an RSVP as though it were a ticket. Let us know right away if it becomes impossible for you to attend.

What now? About a week before the concert we’ll email a note with a reminder, the street address, and some helpful hints for concert day.

Max, with Tader, open this Club Passim concert. My first thought was to point to the best part of this performance, but no kidding, I couldn’t decide. You may want to let it run or skip ahead until you hear Bury Me Beneath the Willow and feel the goosebumps.

Hi! John and Laurelyn here.

We have a simple aim in mind: live a little more each day in such a way that when we die, we have few regrets. Not a life of more, but a life that is rich, deep, and connected to people, those we love and whoever we encounter.

Take a look at Laurelyn’s art and consider joining us for a house concert.
